Stairway to Heaven

Finally made it up to the Gondola! There is the main lookout attached to the Gondola, which I was planning on going to. Once I got there, I decided I’ve come this far, I might as well take the stairway/walkway all the way to the second lookout.
It is a long and strenuous hike, and you would think the stairs would be easier but they are just as hard! It was also SO cold up there. As you can see in a few of the pictures, there is still piles of snow. The second lookout was the old Cosmic Ray Station, a scientific building built in the 1950s. It’s all closed and boarded up now, but still a pretty cool historical site to see.
The elevation at the top is 7,490 feet above sea level. That is way more elevation than I was ever at in Lake Louise.
