World of Octobers

October Autumn

There is nothing I don't like about October. It's really the first month where it feels like fall, with the colder weather, crisp leaves and the crazy oranges and reds on the trees. Lighting candles, drinking tea, and just generally feeling cosy. I also just love the layers and scarves and EVERYTHING fashion related in Autumn.

After living in the mountains for the past few Autumn seasons, it is so nice to be in Ontario to see all the trees change colour and to actually experience all October has to offer. In the mountains it literally jumps right from summer to winter. (It also snows at least once a month, regardless of the season, but that's neither here nor there...)

Currently I'm working at a local farmers market, which is really feeding into my obsession with Fall. We have all sorts of pumpkins, straw bales, apple picking, apple cider, pies out the ying yang (so many sold over the Thanksgiving weekend, I couldn't believe it) and a whole selection of cute little gourds. Needless to say, I've bought a bit of everything to decorate my house!

Now to curl up with a book and make some tea. Candle of the evening is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin from Bath & Body Works.

I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
