Plain of Six Glaciers on Horseback

Horseback riding in the Rockies has been on my bucket list for FOUR years. And I can FINALLY say I've done it. It was worth the wait, the money, and the pain!

The trek starts at the stables by the Chateau Lake Louise, and takes you up to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House. With absolutely stunning views all around it is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had.

At times I would just look around and think "this can't be real, it's so beautiful". It had a very strong "Lord of the Rings" vibe about it, between being on horseback and the rugged and mountainous terrain. You could easily get lost in your imagination riding through the valley.

My horses name was Lou, and he was an absolute sweetheart. He was so calm and steady. If you ever find yourself in the Rockies and looking for something to do, I would highly recommend looking up Brewster Stables at the Chateau Lake Louise. It may be pricey, but it's a once in a lifetime experience.
